Firestarter Blu is a poet, author, spoken word artist and motivational speaker. She is the ultimate artist, dedicated to sharing her thoughts, words and love, especially her love of God, with others. Blu constantly seeks new ways to connect to people because we all travel along paths that continuously intersect. The journey to her current spiritual plane included her Jamaican upbringing in Kingston where she was raised by her maternal grandparents and her father and stepmother. Firestarter Blu was nurtured by her mother and stepfather in Germany and is a loving wife and mother of three.  Blu is the loving sister of four sisters and three brothers. The love and care shown in her yard created a person unafraid to serve and share her gifts with the world.  

Blu has taken the road less travelled and is a disabled Air Force veteran, received her Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science in Information Assurance and Technology from Texas State University and Master of Fine Art in Creative Writing from Full Sail University.  

Firestarter Blu continues to make moves in the world with her words and her voice. She has performed in San Antonio, TX, Nashville, TN, Clermont, Orlando, Haines, FL, Mount Pleasant, SC and Atlanta, GA.  Blu is creating the space to show grace, create opportunities and share unconditional love and kindness. She encourages everyone to the catalyst for positive change that the world needs.
